Best Six Bars inside of Universal Studios & Islands of Adventure at Universal Orlando Resort

When you’re looking for a great drink at Universal Orlando Resort, you have options ranging from highly immersive theme park watering holes to upscale resort lounges.

Universal Studios Florida (Theme Park)

  • Finnegan’s Bar & Grill (New York) Reopening late 2026: A legendary spot for theme park regulars. This is a full-service, authentic Irish-American pub complete with live musicians playing pub classics. It’s highly regarded for its generous, hand-poured drinks, Guinness on tap, and signature cocktails like the Finnegan's G&T (with a splash of Chambord).

  • Chez Alcatraz (San Francisco): A nautical, walk-up waterfront bar located right next to the giant hanging Great White Shark from Jaws. It’s famous for the Ocean Attack cocktail. Ordering it triggers a fun, theatrical performance where the bartender dons a shark hand-puppet and "attacks" your drink with red grenadine.

  • Duff Brewery (Springfield): An open-air waterfront beer garden perfect for The Simpsons fans. You can grab an exclusive, locally brewed Duff Beer (available in original, Lite, or Dry) and enjoy clips of the show playing on overhead TVs.

Islands of Adventure (Theme Park)

  • Hog’s Head Pub (The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Hogsmeade): Tucked into the back of the Three Broomsticks, this dark, rustic pub features a massive animatronic hog’s head that periodically snarls at guests. Try the exclusive Hog’s Head Ale or the Hog’s Tea (a magical, potent twist on a Long Island Iced Tea). You can also order a "Triple Layer Beer" (frequently called the Deathly Hallows), which layers Strongbow cider, Hog's Head Ale, and Guinness.

  • Backwater Bar (Port of Entry): A tropical, explorer-themed hidden gem attached to the Confisco Grille. It offers a great indoor escape from the heat and a lovely outdoor patio. They serve fantastic, refreshing mixed cocktails like their signature spicy margaritas.

  • The Watering Hole (Jurassic Park): This hidden gem is located just across the bridge from Hogsmeade to Jurassic Park, don’t let the food stand appearance fool you there are some amazing drinks to be gotten here.  Try The Bird of Paradise: A sweet and fruity fan-favorite made with Malibu Passion Fruit Rum, blue curaçao, and pineapple juice. The Raptor Claw: A potent mix of spiced rum, melon liqueur, triple sec, and pineapple and cranberry juices. And the Isla Nublar IPA: If you are a beer lover, this is a smooth, exclusive craft beer brewed locally just for the Jurassic Park section of the park.

Universal typically pours strong drinks; as aways drink responsibly
